Hi Writing Warriors,
I’m back with another editor therapy session! This is a thread for all of your burning questions about writing, publishing (independent or traditional), editing, and anything in between. You can also vent, share wins, or any writing tips that are working for you. This is a safe space for anything related to the writing or publishing process that you want to get out of your head.
Post your questions, thoughts, advice, anything else you’d like in the comments. Anyone can respond. I’ll chime in with my thoughts too. We’ll do this every few weeks or so depending on response. And I may pull out one or two questions to share more globally in my monthly Q&A, so please let me know if your question is only for the thread.
Everyone was a beginner once and there’s no such thing as a silly question or thought.
Now, what’s on your mind??
Kristen
This thread is excellent. It's a warm, open way to ask questions, seek advice, and connect with fellow writers. The inclusive nature of this space, where no question is too small, fosters a sense of community and growth, reminding us that every writer, regardless of experience, is on a continuous journey of learning and development. Thanks for this.
Kirsten, can you talk about the "new publishers" on the block. Who is new and recognizing the existing publishing paradigm needs to shift? I'd love to hear about that. Thank you 🇨🇦
